Making a Game

When did I realize I want to make games? Ever since I was a child. My first programs were written in BASIC. I was in the fourth grade when I started my journey, creating animations of ASCII characters fighting each other.

As a teenager growing up in the nineties, I played almost every important title, but I wasn’t able to program the games. No one did. Except maybe, professional and experienced programmers working in few teams around the world. As much as I showed enthusiasm in learning programming languages such as C and PASCAL, I lacked the knowledge on how to utilize these languages into making games. It was not until I’ve grown up, had a degree in Computer Sciences, had a job as a programmer, and came across Unity, did I start making my first game.
